Check Your Acupuncture Benefits

Many health insurance plans in New York City may cover acupuncture, including plans from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Oxford, and others. Coverage varies by plan, and some plans have restrictions, deductibles, or authorization requirements before benefits begin.

To check your benefits, submit an insurance verification request. We’ll review your information and typically reply within one business day. Verification is free and does not obligate you to schedule.

If you’d like to come in before we complete your verification, please contact us and we’ll review your options. To use insurance for treatment, please schedule a private room appointment online or contact us by phone at (212) 595-3432 or by email.

If you plan to bill in-network under an Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield plan, please schedule with Jane Teranna, L.Ac.
