FAQs

What should I wear to my acupuncture appointment?

Loose, comfortable clothing is your best bet. Your practitioner will need to access points on your arms below the elbows, your legs below the knees, and sometimes your back, neck, or abdomen — so anything that rolls or pushes up easily makes the session smoother. Soft pants or leggings, a t-shirt, and slip-on shoes work well for most people.

If you're coming straight from work in clothes that don't move easily, that's fine too — we have gowns and sheets available, and your practitioner will give you privacy to change. Plan to remove any heavy jewelry on your wrists or ankles before treatment, since those areas often get needled.
