A first visit at Olo runs about 1.5 hours. You'll check in at the front desk, then sit down with your practitioner for an intake conversation — they'll ask about why you came in, your medical history, sleep, digestion, stress, and anything else that helps them build a picture of what's going on.
Then you'll move to your treatment space — a recliner or table in the community room, or a table in a private room. Your practitioner will insert thin, single-use sterile needles at specific points on your body — most people feel a brief tap or a dull ache that fades within seconds. The needles stay in place for roughly 25 to 35 minutes while you rest. Many patients drift off, get unusually relaxed, or notice their breathing slow down. Your practitioner may check in and adjust or stimulate the needles as needed during the session. Each treatment space also has a call buzzer so you can let us know if you need anything.
Follow-up visits are shorter — usually 45 to 60 minutes — since the intake gets briefer once you're an established patient. You can drive, work, or go about your day right after.
