FAQ

We generally recommend postpartum parents rest at home and do as little as possible for the first 40 days when possible — that window is for recovery, not for scheduling appointments. Acupuncture fits in well after that period. If something specific needs to be addressed sooner — pain, difficulty sleeping, or another concern that isn’t waiting — it can be worked in earlier, and a house call is often a good option for those first weeks. The best time to start is when your body feels ready, and acupuncture is beneficial at any point in the postpartum period, not just in the early weeks.
