FAQ

Should I schedule community or private room acupuncture?

At Olo, Community Acupuncture is in a spacious room with four tables, two recliners, and several patients receiving treatment at the same time. Consultations are conducted every few visits in a separate room, and any verbal communication between patients and providers in the community room is minimal and kept to a whisper. There is soft music playing and white noise machines whirling in the background.

Private room acupuncture is in a smaller room with one table. Consultations occur during each visit, and you talk with your provider at a typical conversational volume. There is soft music and white noise machines playing in the background while you rest.

Private rooms are a good match for individuals who prefer more privacy and discretion, those who are sensitive to noise or others around them, and anyone who needs more one-on-one time with their providers, such as with more complicated or nuanced conditions. That said, the group healing environment in the community room is truly special, and we encourage all to give it a try.
