Masha received a Master’s of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture and became proficient training under great masters, such as Kiiko Matsumoto and Mark Seem. She found her calling to this field after having been an acupuncture patient for many years. “I can speak first hand of the benefits to the mind, body, and spirit,” says Masha, where a session in 2010 left her feeling uplifted on so many levels. “My body and spirit were so light, and I was full of energy. It immediately became clear I wanted to share this ancient gift with others.”
With each of her patients, Masha seeks to achieve balance and heal the whole body on a physical, emotional and energetic level. She is a compassionate listener and understands that pain, anxiety, and insomnia are the body’s way of expressing an imbalance. Masha works closely with the patient to uncover the root and transform the body to a harmony of yin and yang.
Patients who are open to transformation and deeper understanding of their mind, body and spirit will truly benefit under Masha’s care as well as in the community acupuncture environment. “This environment is special due to the healing energy exchange in the room coming from the practitioner as well as the patients being treated,” she says. “The space caters to a greater range of people and magnifies the healing experience.”
Following a two-year internship at Olo working under practitioner Jane Terrana, L.Ac., Masha herself became an on-staff practitioner in 2014. She says the community at Olo has come to feel like family. “The environment is warm and genuine, and I can always be authentic,” she says. “I feel I get the same in return from the rest of the team and the patients.”
When not working, Masha stays balanced and grounded by being outdoors as much as possible. “I love the mountains and the ocean,” she says. “I practice yoga and meditation. Dancing is a great release as well, the more freeform, the better.”
"Masha has magical hands and a great healing power. I have received many treatments from her and have been delighted every time!"
